Meet the Founders
Luna Charles began during a Saturday morning chat about dreams for the future between friends Laura Millner and Emma O’Reilly.
With over 15 years experience working for all types of fashion businesses, from small independent, handmade brands to head offices for global fashion houses, they decided it was time to go it alone.
Over many wine and pizza filled ‘meetings’ they pulled together their passion for unique, eclectic style, beautiful jewellery and all things celestial to create something they truly loved and couldn’t wait to share with the rest of the world as Luna Charles.

The name? We had to incorporate our best (dog) friends somehow!
Luna is Emma’s little Dachshund and Charles is Laura’s gigantic American Akita - head over to our Instagram to meet them - they both pop up a lot!
Animals (especially dogs) will always be an important part of Luna Charles, which is why we are very proud to support The Dogs Trust. Donating a percentage of profits to them every month.
Our Designs
Affordable luxury is at the heart of Luna Charles, offering a range of timeless, exceptional quality jewellery pieces, handbags and hair accessories at accessible price points.
Best known for our celestial style, our jewellery pieces are inspired by our love of the moon and stars, astrology and all things mystical ~ from horoscopes to crystal healing, and most importantly, you, our wonderful customers.
The team gathers each season to share inspiration, sketch and discuss what we'd love to see and innovate.
Our design process starts with some good old fashioned sketches.. although we have moved on to an iPad from pen and paper in recent years. From there we create 3D computer aided designs with every little detail we'd like included in the piece. We then work with our brilliant manufacturers to select the ideal materials and gemstones to perfect the finished items.
We work with a number of workshops and factories around the world, that are home to the talented artisans who handcraft each and every element of our pieces, from selecting and hand-cutting gemstones to hand polishing the silver and gold finishes.
We want our collections to be constantly improving & evolving, with trends, the climate and the future.
Sustainability
In the last year we made the commitment to use no single use plastics in our manufacture process or packaging.
Our jewellery boxes and shipping packaging are 100% recyclable and use only FSC paper to be kinder to the environment.
Your jewellery will arrive in our gorgeous recyclable boxes with an inner suedette finished support to keep your jewellery safe, tarnish and tangle-free.
We recommend keeping your jewellery in these boxes when it's not being worn.
Our handbags come in branded dustbags, which are 100% recycled and perfect for keeping your gorgeous handbags dust and scuff free when not in use.
We're still on a sustainability journey, and are working on making all areas of the business sustainable and environmentally friendly.
